      Qalaat JabarQalaat Jabar is a castle on the left bank of Lake Assad in Al-Raqqah Governorate, Syria. It was built by the Banu Numayr tribe in the 11th century and then rebuilt by Nur ad-Din Zangi in 1168 AD.
