Qalaat al-Jandal is a ruined castle located in Rif Dimashq Governorate, Syria. The original fortification is dating back to the Hellenistic period in the 3rd century BC. The castle was later rebuilt by Prince Jandal bin Qays in 1015 AD, during the Fatimid Caliphate period.
