    Port of Qanāʾ is an archaeological site located on the southern coast of Yemen along the Arabian Sea, within Shabwah Governorate. It was founded in the early 1st millennium BC and functioned as the principal maritime outlet of the Kingdom of Hadramawt. Qanāʾ played a central role in ancient long-distance trade as the main export port for frankincense and myrrh, commodities that were highly valued in the Mediterranean world, East Africa, and South Asia.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, The Archaeological Sites of the Kingdom of Hadramout in Shabwah.
