    Ankara Castle is an ancient castle located in Ankara, Turkey. It was originally built by the Phrygians in the 8th century BC and was later rebuilt in 278 BC by the Galatians. The castle was restored several times during the Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman eras.
