    The Monastery of Saint Anthony, also Deir Mar Antonios, is a Coptic Orthodox monastery standing in an oasis in the Eastern Desert of Egypt. It is dating back to the 4th century AD and considered one of the oldest monasteries in the world.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, The monasteries of the Arab Desert and Wadi Natrun.
