Iasos

Iasos or Iassos was an ancient Greek city in Caria located today on Gulf of Güllük, opposite the modern town of Güllük in Muğla Province, Turkey. The archaeological finds cover Ancient Greek, Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods. Outstanding remains in the site include an Agora, Artemis stoa and Roman villas.
