Harrat Nawasif
Harrat Nawasif is a lava field and historical area located in Makkah Region in Saudi Arabia. The area includes hundreds of kite-shaped structures that are found mainly on the edges and along small valleys extending into the lava field. In the north, many kites are near ancient lake shores. The kites in Harrat Nawasif are usually simple in design, with two converging walls and cells at the far end. They lack complex features and vary in size, with one exceptionally large making it one of the largest known.
