Hararah Dam
Hararah Dam is an ancient stone-built hydraulic structure located in Ibb Governorate, the Dhafar region of Yemen and dating to the Himyarite period. Positioned within a landscape shaped by seasonal water management, the dam formed part of a broader system of reservoirs and channels designed to regulate runoff and support agriculture. Its construction reflects advanced knowledge of hydrology and masonry, illustrating the importance of water control in sustaining settlement and agricultural productivity in the Himyarite heartland.
The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, The Archaeological Remains and Water Management Systems Himyar Kingdom in Dhafar.Elevation: 2734 m
