Great Friday Mosque of Salewa is a historic mosque located in the village of Salewa in Tahoua Region, Niger. The mosque was built in the 20th century AD, according to the architectural style of the Sudanese coastal architecture that was used by the Hausa people. Today the Hausa people live in the Sahel region and the Sudan region all the way to Nigeria and southeastern Niger.
