Souk el-Ghezel Mosque
Souk el-Ghezel mosque, or Ghazal Market Mosque, also El Bey Mosque, is a historical mosque located in Constantine, Algeria. It was built in 1730 AD by the Bey of Constantine during the period of Ottoman rule. The mosque was converted into a cathedral during the French occupation of Algeria in the 19th century, and then returned after independence to its origin as a mosque.
