    Ereğli Castle is a ruined castle loacted in the city of Ereğli on the Black Sea shore in Zonguldak Province of Turkey. The oldest history of the castle dates back to the Roman era in the 5th century AD, and then it was rebuilt in the Byzantine period in the 13th century AD.
