Dolmabahçe Mosque is a historical mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. The mosque was built by order of Bezmiâlem Sultan, the second wife of the Ottoman Sultan Mahmud II and the mother of Sultan Abdul Majeed I, who completed the construction of the mosque after the death of his mother. The mosque was officially opened in the year 1855 AD.
