Burqin Church

Burqin Church or Church of St George is a Greek Orthodox church located in the town of Burqin in West Bank, Palestine. The oldest history of the church dates back to the 4th and 5th centuries AD during the Byzantine era, and therefore it is considered the 4th oldest church in the world. As for the current building, it dates back to the period of the Crusaders in the 12th century. The church, which was restored and expanded many times in later periods, is famous for the presence of a cave that is said to be the site where Jesus healed the lepers.
