Borj El Kastil
Borj El Kastil is a medieval fort located in in Djerba island, Tunisia. It was built in the 13th century AD during the time of Kingdom of Sicily. The fort was restored later in the 16th century AD by the Ottoman naval commander Dragut. The site was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023 as part of Djerba: Testimony to a Settlement Pattern in an Island Territory.
