Bayburt Castle is a castle located in Bayburt, Turkey. It was built during the reign of the Armenian Bagratuni Dynasty in the 9th century AD. The castle was rebuilt by the Saltuk ruler Mugis-al-Din Tugrul Sah between 1200 -1230 AD, and later during the Ottoman period.
