    Amasra Castle is a castle located in Amarsa town in Bartın Province, Turky. It was built during the Roman period. The walls of the castle were built by the Byzantines. The front walls and gates were built by the Genoese in the 14th and 15th centuries AD.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, Trading Posts and Fortifications on Genoese Trade Routes from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea.
