Batroun
Batroun

Batroun is a coastal city located in North Governorate in northern Lebanon. The city, which considered one of the oldest cities in the world, was founded by Phoenicians in the 2nd millennium BC on the southern side of the promontory called in Antiquity, Theoprosopon. The city is distinguished by its ancient history, starting from the Greek and Roman periods until the Ottoman period.
