    Agadez Mosque, or the Great Mosque of Agadez, is a historic mosque built of clay located in the historic city of Agadez in Niger. The mosque was originally built in 1515 AD, and then rebuilt and restored in 1844. The mosque is distinguished by its minaret, which is more than 27 meters high, and it is considered the tallest building in the world made of mud bricks. The Agadez Mosque was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2013, as part of the Historic Centre of Agadez.
    The site is one of the elements that make up the UNESCO World Heritage site, Historic Centre of Agadez.
