Colchic Rainforests and Wetlands
It is a natural forest located on the coast of western Georgia on the Black Sea, where a wide range of ancient ecosystems of rainforests and wetlands are home to many threatened and endangered species. Forests are also a major stop on the routes of migratory birds, especially endangered species.
Colchic Rainforests and Wetlands was inscribed in 2021 in the UNESCO World Heritage List in Georgia.
