    Trabzon Castle or Walls of Trabzon are a series of defensive walls surrounding the old town of the city of Trabzon in Trabzon Province, northeastern Turkey. The castle foundations are dating back to the Roman era in the 1st century AD. The castle itself was built during then Byzantine, Trapezuntine, Ottoman periods in the 13th, 14th and 15th Centuries AD.
