Tirana Castle

Tirana Castle, or Fortress of Justinian, is an ancient castle located in the heart of the Albanian capital, Tirana. It was built in the 13th century AD during the Byzantine period. All that remains of the castle above the ground today is a wall dating back to the Ottoman era, and mosaics from the Byzantine period have recently been uncovered.
