Tigva Monastery or the Tigva Monastery of the Dormition of the Mother of God is a medieval Georgian Orthodox monastic church located at the village of Tigva in the disputed territory of South Ossetia. It was founded by Tamar, daughter of King David IV of Georgia, in 1152 AD.
