Thuburbo Majus is an ancinet large Roman site located in southwest of Carthage in northern Tunisia. It was founded as a Roman veteran colony by Augustus in 27 BC. The ruins include the forum, the capitol, the amphitheater, temples, baths, houses, and other sites.
