Saffarin Madrasa
Saffarin Madrasa is a historic madrasa (Islamic school) located south of the Qarawiyyin Mosque on Place Seffarine in Fes el Bali, Fes, Morocco. It was founded in 1271 AD by he Marinid Sultan Abu Yaqub Yusuf an-Nasr and is considered the first madrasa built during the Marinid era. The madrasa was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981 as part of Medina of Fez.
