Nysa or Nysa on the Maeander was an ancient city and bishopric in Anatolia, whose remains are in the Sultanhisar district of Aydın Province of Turkey. It was founded by Antiochus I Soter, The king of the Hellenistic Seleucid Empire who reigned from 281 to 261 BC.
