    Maydh, also transliterated as Mait or Meit, is an ancient port city located in the northern Sanaag region of Somalia (Somaliland). The city includes the tomb of Sheikh Ishaaq bin Ahmed bin Muhammad al-Hashimi, an Islamic scholar who lived during the Abbasid era.
