Maktar
Maktar or Makthar is a Roman-Berber site in Siliana Governorate, Tunisia. The ancient town was founded by the Numidians as a defense post against the Carthaginians in the 3rd century BC. Among the ruins there are several pre-Roman structures, the Roman forum, the arch of Trajan and the thermal baths.
