Knidos or Cnidus is an ancient Greek city of the ancient region of Caria. It is located today in Mugla Province in south-western Turkey. The ruins include the agora, the theatre, an odeum (building used for musical performances), a temple of Dionysus, a temple of the Muses, a temple of Aphrodite and a great number of minor buildings.
