Kızkalesi Castle
Kızkalesi or Maiden's Castle, is a castle located on a small island in Mersin Province of Turkey. It was originally built by Alexios I Komnenos of Byzantine Empire after the First Crusade in the 11th century AD. The castle was later extensively rebuilt by the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia.
