    Kızkalesi or Maiden's Castle, is a castle located on a small island in Mersin Province of Turkey. It was originally built by Alexios I Komnenos of Byzantine Empire after the First Crusade in the 11th century AD. The castle was later extensively rebuilt by the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, Ancient City of Korykos.
