Kasbah Cherarda

Kasbah Cherarda is a fort located on the outskirts of Fes el Bali, Morocco. It was first built during the Saadi dynasty in the 16th century AD, and later refurbished by the Alaouite Sultan Mulai al-Rashid during 1664-1672 AD as a fortress. The Kasbah was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981 as part of Medina of Fez.
