Fenari Isa Mosque, previously known as the Lips Monastery during the Byzantine period, is a historical mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. The mosque was made of two previous Orthodox churches dating back to the Byzantine era in the 10th century AD. They were converted into a mosque in the fifteenth century AD, during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II.
