Donaldson site is an archaeological site located in Ontario, Canada. It is the largest site in the Saugeen complex, a First Nations culture around the southeast shores of Lake Huron and the Bruce Peninsula. The site reflects Woodland period habitation and mortuary practices from 200 BC to 700 AD. Primarily a seasonal fishing station, it suggests millennia of Algonquian presence in Bruce and Huron Counties and may indicate early broader social groupings typical of the Late Woodland period, which spans from about 1000 BC to 1000 AD.
