It serves as a co-cathedral for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint-Jean-Longueuil. It was originally constructed in 1887 AD and then completed in 1911. The co-cathedral was built in the Gothic Revival style, and it is known for its impressive spire, intricate stonework, and beautiful stained glass windows.
