    Bestansur is an archaeological tell or mound located on the fertile Shahrizor Plain in the western foothills of the Central Zagros mountains, in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, Iraq. The site comprises extensive Early Neolithic occupation dating back to the 8th millennium BC.
    The site is included on the UNESCO Tentative List under the official name, Bestansur Neolithic settlement.
