Atashgah of Tbilisi, also the Atashgah or Ateshgah is an ancient Zoroastrian fire temple lactated in Tbilisi, Georgia. It was built during the reign of the Persian Sasanian Empire between 224-651 AD. The temple is considered the northernmost Zoroastrian fire-temple in the world, and it is one of the oldest religious buildings in Tbilisi. The temple has been transformed throughout its long history into a church and then a mosque, and today it is considered an archaeological landmark of national importance.
