    Al Ghazali Monastery is a medieval Christian monastery located in Wadi Abu Dom, in Sudan’s Bayuda Desert, about 20 km from Karima. Founded during the Christian period of Nubia, it was occupied roughly between the late 7th and 13th centuries AD. The site includes monastery ruins, cemeteries, a small settlement, and evidence of iron production, making it one of the important monastic sites of medieval Nubia.
