Wheat is often reserved for special occasions, ritual meals, and religious holidays. Men usually carry out fieldwork, while women preserve wheat stocks and bake ceremonial bread.
The related knowledge is passed down through family and community participation during events such as births, weddings, funerals, and seasonal celebrations, while educational and research institutions also help preserve local wheat varieties and traditional knowledge.
