Thaidene Nene National Park Reserve
Thaidene Nene National Park Reserve is located near the East Arm of Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories, where boreal forest meets tundra. Covering 14,070 km², it is managed by Parks Canada and forms part of a larger Indigenous Protected Area.
The park protects diverse ecosystems and wildlife including caribou, lynx, wolf, moose, foxes, muskox, bears, and many migratory birds. The landscape features red granite cliffs, peninsulas, canyons, and waterfalls.
